Sometimes the river talks to me on my morning walks. Today she said, “Keep doing what you’re doing.” And then the clouds seconded it. Well, alright then, I will!
I’m sure the river has this message for some of you as well. I don’t think I’m her special friend or anything, but she makes me feel that way.
The river and clouds also reminded me of a quote from St. Julian of Norwich: All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.
This from a woman who endured famine, plagues, horrific sickness, and war.
Ominous clouds might be overhead–and the river dangerously swollen–but all manner of thing shall be well.
