Mighty humbled (and still a bit gobsmacked) to receive the 2026 Catholic Media Award for Best Regular Newspaper Column on Spiritual Life. This is for my work in The Georgia Bulletin, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
The Great Flannery O’Connor reviewed books for the publication. In a 1956 letter to a friend, she said, “Bulletin readers…have been waiting patiently for these many years for me to get enough rope to hang myself with.” Ha!
The Catholic Media Awards are presented by the Catholic Media Association.
